On January 2, KIHASA held a brief ceremony, presenting certificates of appointment to its newly recruited staff and a newly appointed director, before a weekly directors meeting began.

KIHASA is a social policy think tank that leads the Korean welfare state, conducting research and analysis on population and socioeconomic conditions to assist in the making of health and social welfare policies, with a view to making Korea a safer and happier society that promotes people's health and welfare.
