The idea that non-marital cohabiting households are few in number is a misconception that doesn't reflect reality. In fact, the number of non-family households, where people live together without any legal marriage or blood relationship, has surpassed one million. Recognizing only legally married or blood-related families as "families" under the ideology of the "traditional family" is a deeply entrenched prejudice and a misunderstanding that fails to reflect the real lives of people. Therefore, I believe it is time to establish legal systems that can truly keep pace with the everyday lives of people who form families based on intimacy, sincerity, and mutual care.
