Have you heard of "Artificial Intelligence (AI)"? It originated with the conception of the imitation game, which asked the question, “Can machines think?” Over time, it has come to refer to machines using language, forming abstractions and concepts, solving problems, and finding ways to improve themselves.
Artificial Intelligence can be classified as either ‘Weak AI’ or ‘Strong AI’ based on its purpose. Weak AI is designed to solve specific problems and has limited capacity for self-expansion. In contrast, Strong AI on computers features human-level intelligence, which can learn independently and adapt flexibly.
With technological advancements, the concept and definition of AI continue to evolve. In the United States, AI is defined as a machine-based system that, for purposes defined by humans, can make predictions, provide recommendations, and make decisions that influence real or virtual environments. The European Union (EU) defines AI as a machine-based system designed to operate autonomously, demonstrating adaptability and generating outputs that can affect diverse environments.
So, how does Korea define AI? And what are some potential ways to utilize tax data using advancing AI?
