KIHASA has added to its publications the following two research monographs: “A Study on the Utilization and Management Strategies for Regional Health and Welfare Statistical Data” and “2024 Annual Report of the Research Center on Low Fertility and Population Aging.”

1. A Study on the Utilization and Management Strategies for Regional Health and Welfare Statistical Data by Park Seongjun, et al.

The purpose of this study is to review the current status of the production and provision of regional health and welfare statistical data and to enhance the efficiency of its management and utilization. In this study, we analyzed cases of regional-level statistical data and introduced a pilot application of small-area estimation methods to supplement these data. Based on our findings, we proposed systematic management measures for regional health and welfare statistical data, along with key tasks and strategies to promote their effective utilization.

2. 2024 Annual Report of the Research Center on Low Fertility and Population Aging" by Lee Soyoung, et al.

In 2024, the Research Center on Low Fertility and Aging Society established its annual operational strategies in collaboration with various consultation groups and accordingly held four seminars on “Population Policy Planning” and four Population Forums. It also conducted population monitoring and published an annual report on it. The Center carried out a total of 29 projects, including 12 research projects, 3 operational projects, 3 government-funded projects (1 general, 1 ad hoc, and 1 R&D reserve fund), and 14 commissioned projects.
